Heart broken as we say goodbye to Keith, stronger than a kauri.

1946 - 2021

We are deeply saddened to lose our main man Keith Stephenson who unexpectedly passed away on Sunday 19th December. The much-loved Coromandel Town man who enriched the local environment and many lives with his love of adventure in the outdoors, one of the best humans you could ever wish to know.

Not only was he an amazing man, he was the lifeblood of our community, he never judged no matter what the situation. He accepted people for what they were, however they were and mentored many of us on our own journeys.

Keith's dream was to create a bike park for the youth of Coromandel which he achieved after many years of hard graft. The park opened one year ago yesterday.
